OPEN POSITION: PROJECT MANAGER – REAL ESTATE / CONSTRUCTION

Orr Partners, a leading provider of Construction and Real Estate Project Management services, is seeking a Project Manager with 5-plus years experience for immediate employment at a project located in Savannah, Georgia.  This job opening is currently a 30-hour per week position with the opportunity for full-time employment.  Some travel required.

Qualified Candidate will:

  1. serve as the main point of contact with clients on project issues;
  2. develop master project budgets and detailed schedules;
  3. administer project-related contracts and construction documents;
  4. procure and manage the services of architects, engineers and contractors; 
  5. coordinate project activities;
  6. serve as the central communications point for project team members;
  7. be responsible for creating quality reports (weekly, task, risk mitigation, flash, etc.); and
  8. organize project files.

Candidate must have experience in all phases of real estate development and project management, including due diligence, entitlements, base building, tenant, design and close out.  Experience with computers, especially Microsoft Office and demonstrated knowledge of computer based project management systems (Prolog, Suretrack, Primavera, EADOCs) a plus.  Candidate must work well independently and possess strong written communications skills.  Must possess a BS degree - civil engineering, construction or related industry preferred.
